These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ANSHAP platform, including our website at anshap.com, our Android and iOS mobile applications, our AI-powered emotional wellbeing companion ("NOA"), and any related services and features (together, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by Anshap Services Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered address at Fresh Living, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana, India ("ANSHAP", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or otherwise accessing the Platform, you ("you", "User") accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
01Eligibility
The Platform is intended only for individuals aged 18 years and above who are resident in India and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet these criteria. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity on your account.
02What We Offer
ANSHAP is an AI-powered emotional wellbeing platform designed with psychologist-informed frameworks. The Platform offers:
- •NOA, an AI companion that provides reflection prompts, journaling support, mood tracking and other self-care tools. NOA is not a medical device, not a substitute for professional care, and not intended for emergencies.
- •One-to-one Sessions with qualified mental health professionals and psychologists whose credentials are reviewed by ANSHAP, including RCI registration where applicable. Each psychologist's registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India is verified by us at onboarding.
- •Stories, a feature for sharing reflections anonymously with the ANSHAP community.
- •Stepped Care Pathway, which routes Users from self-help and NOA-based support to coaching and, where appropriate, to a Session with a psychologist.
Where you access the Platform through an employer, educational institution, NGO or other sponsor (a "Sponsor"), the Sponsor pays for your access but is not party to your individual use. Sponsors receive only anonymous aggregated insights and never see your personal information, identity or activity.
03Sessions, Booking and Cancellation
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. A Session is confirmed once payment, Sponsor credit or active subscription is recorded. Cancellation, reschedule and refund terms are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. In summary, you may cancel free of charge if you give at least 24 hours' notice; later cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances.
ANSHAP psychologists are independent professionals. They use their own clinical judgement within the boundaries of their professional ethics and ANSHAP's policies. ANSHAP does not guarantee any particular therapeutic outcome.
04NOA and AI Limitations
NOA's responses are generated by automated systems and may not always be accurate, complete or appropriate to your situation. You should not rely solely on NOA for decisions about your health or wellbeing. If you are in distress, please speak with a qualified professional or contact one of the helplines in our Emergency Notice below.
05Session Recording
Sessions are not recorded by default. A Session will only be recorded if you actively opt in. When you do, recordings are used solely for clinical supervision and quality assurance, are restricted to authorised personnel, and are automatically deleted after 90 days. You can withdraw your recording consent at any time. You may not record any Session or NOA conversation yourself without our written consent.
06Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform respectfully and lawfully. You will not:
- •post unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, hateful or otherwise prohibited content;
- •share content that promotes or instructs on self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, substance abuse or violence;
- •share another person's identity or private information without consent;
- •impersonate any person, attempt to access another User's account, or circumvent any security feature;
- •attempt to identify or contact a psychologist outside the Platform — for everyone's safety, all interactions with psychologists must remain on the Platform;
- •use the Platform in a medical or psychiatric emergency.
We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and report to authorities where required. Our role in respect of User-generated content is that of an intermediary under section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
07Stories
Stories are published without your name or contact details, but you remain responsible for the content. Anonymity is not the same as confidentiality — do not include details that could identify you or anyone else. Our Community Guidelines set out the rules in full. We may remove Stories and apply trigger warnings where appropriate.
08Confidentiality
Your Sessions and clinical information are confidential, in accordance with the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017. Limited exceptions apply — for example, where disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm, or where required by law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
09Payments and Taxes
Fees are displayed in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed by RBI-authorised payment providers. We do not store full card or bank details. We may revise fees on prior notice; bookings already made are honoured at the booking-time rate.
10Intellectual Property
All content, software, branding and other materials provided on the Platform are owned by ANSHAP or our licensors. You may use them solely to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as your Stories or journal entries), and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and use it as necessary to operate the Platform.
