This Policy is intended to comply with applicable Indian consumer protection and e-commerce requirements.
This Refund and Cancellation Policy describes how cancellations, reschedules and refunds are handled for services purchased through the ANSHAP platform, operated by Anshap Services Private Limited ("ANSHAP", "we", "us", "our"), having its registered address at Fresh Living, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
01Payment
Sessions and subscriptions are payable in advance. Payments are processed through RBI-authorised payment providers (UPI, debit or credit card, net banking, payment links). Where you access the Platform through a Sponsor, payment is made by the Sponsor on your behalf. All prices on the Platform are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes.
A Session is confirmed only once payment is received, or a valid Sponsor credit is redeemed, or an active subscription is in place. We may revise fees on at least 7 days' prior notice; Sessions already booked are honoured at the booking-time rate.
02Cancellation by You
You may cancel a Session free of charge if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time are non-refundable. We may make exceptions in cases of genuine emergency or compelling personal circumstances, at our discretion.
03Rescheduling
You may reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the Session, subject to your psychologist's availability. Requests made closer to the Session may be accommodated at our discretion. A maximum of two reschedules are permitted per booking.
04No-Shows
A Session is treated as a no-show if you do not join within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time. No-shows consume the Session and are non-refundable. If you experienced a genuine technical issue, please write to support@anshap.com with details and we will consider a goodwill reschedule on a case-by-case basis.
05Cancellation by the Psychologist
If your psychologist cancels or does not join within 10 minutes of the scheduled start, you may choose to (a) reschedule with the same psychologist, (b) receive a full refund to your original payment method, or (c) be matched with an alternate psychologist of similar or higher seniority at no additional cost. To exercise any of these options, please write to support@anshap.com within 7 days of the affected Session.
06Technical Failures
If a Session cannot be delivered because of a technical issue on our side, you may choose to reschedule at no cost or to receive a full refund. Where the issue is on your side (for example, your internet, device or power), we may, at our discretion, allow a one-off goodwill reschedule.
07Refund Timelines
Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 to 7 working days of approval. The time it takes for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and is outside our control. Refunds are not issued in cash.
08Subscriptions
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account settings or by writing to support@anshap.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods, except where required by law or where we discontinue a plan.
09Sponsor Credits
Where Sessions are paid for through a Sponsor (for example, your employer or college), the Sponsor's terms apply to the credit pool, including expiry and any per-period limits. Unused Sponsor credits are not refundable to you in cash. If a Sponsor's arrangement with us ends, we will inform you and offer continuity on a self-pay basis.
10Exceptional Circumstances
We may, at our discretion, make exceptions to this Policy in cases of medical emergency, bereavement or other compelling circumstances. To request an exception, write to support@anshap.com with a brief explanation.
11Grievances
For any billing, refund or cancellation concern, please first write to support@anshap.com. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer at grievance@anshap.com. Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of India and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Disputes are subject to arbitration at Hyderabad and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad.
